Fortune 500 company, LKQ Corp., has signed a
10-plus year lease agreement for an additional 46,054 SF at Canal
Crossing Logistics Center, 5670 S. 32nd St. in Phoenix. The company will
now occupy 100% of the 155,114 SF building.
Jeff Conrad and Allen Lowe, principals with Lee & Associates Arizona
represented the owner Bixby Land Co. of Irvine, CA. Chicago-based LKQ
Corp., a subsidiary of Keystone Automotive Industries, was represented
by Mike Parker and Evan Koplan of CBRE in Phoenix and Jacob Bobek of
Avison Young, in Los Angeles.
LKQ Corp. is a leading international provider of replacement
systems, components, equipment and parts to repair and accessorize
automobiles, trucks and recreational and performance vehicles.
“The project sought to deliver a state-of-the-art, Class A distribution
building with features catering to corporate America’s evolving logistics
needs,“ Conrad said. “LKQ’s expansion into the balance of the building
solidifi es the successful execution of this plan and further cements the
trend we have seen in the Airport submarket of top fl ight tenants fl ocking
to the newest speculative off erings.”
Delivered in April 2015, the building sits on 10.99 acres. The property
features 37 exterior dock doors, 2 drive-ins, 30’ clear height, ESFR
sprinklers, 100% truck court and 164 surface parking spaces. It is located
in the desirable Airport submarket just south of Phoenix Sky Harbor
International Airport and is close to Interstate 10.
