Erickson Companies acquires two-building portfolio in off-market transaction
Cushman & Wakefield announced today the firm has represented both buyer and seller in the sale of a multi-state industrial portfolio consisting of a 40,000-square-foot headquarters facility on 13 acres in Chandler (Phoenix), Arizona and a 20,000-sf facility on 15 acres located in Roseville (Sacramento), California.
The buyer was Erickson Companies, an innovative leader in providing best-of-class construction services and pre-fabricated building components to single and multi-family residential builders in Arizona, California and Nevada, which acquired the asset from an undisclosed seller for $26.25 million. Erickson Companies was a tenant at both locations prior to the acquisition.
Senior Director Phil Haenel and Executive Managing Directors Mike Haenel, Andy Markham and Will Strong represented both parties in the transaction.
The Chandler property is located at 250 N Beck Ave and serves as Erickson Companies’ headquarters. The Roseville property is located at 8350 Industrial Ave and serves as a regional office for the company. Erickson Companies also has regional office locations in Reno, NV and Tempe, AZ (DSI Door Sales & Installations).
“This was a great opportunity for Erickson Companies to acquire a high quality, industrial asset strategically positioned along the I-10 Freeway in the Chandler submarket, a preferred location for the region’s cutting-edge corporate users,” said Phil Haenel. “The Corridor is distinguished for its dynamic corporate setting, intelligent and innovative labor pool, friendly neighborhoods, inviting shopping and dining scene, and a world-class infrastructure that includes high-capacity utilities.”
The Chandler facility provides superior freeway and regional accessibility along with nearby public transportation access and proximity to multiple airports. Also located nearby are the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Chandler Municipal Airport, and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
The Roseville facility is situated in a desired location near Highway 65 and Interstate 80, surrounded by corporate neighbors and near an abundance of retail, dining and shopping amenities. The Sacramento International Airport is also a short distance. Roseville is among the fastest-growing cities in California.
