The Arizona Roundtable of the global Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP-AZRT) announced it will host leaders in Sustainability and Last Mile Fulfillment trends at their annual Spring Symposium on Thursday, February 25th from 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Arizona State University-Tempe Campus, McCord Hall.
In support of CSCMP’s mission to connect, educate and develop supply chain professionals, the event will focus on the significant challenges and opportunities in sustainability and last mile fulfillment initiatives within the supply chain industry. Designed to foster best practice sharing and optimal networking opportunities, the diverse program will feature multiple panel discussions with industry thought leaders representing global organizations active in the Valley, including Walmart, OnTrac, JDA and States Logistics, a morning keynote presentation from CSCMP Chief Executive Officer, Rick Blasgen, and a special lunch presentation from Walter Kemmsies, Chief Economist from Moffat and Nichol.
“As our most recognized event of the year, the Spring Symposium brings the leading supply chain thought leaders together to exchange ideas, acknowledge trends and best prepare the industry for long term growth,” said Richard Woolery, President of the CSCMP AZ Roundtable. “This year’s topics of sustainability and last mile fulfillment are timely and relevant to modern commerce and logistics especially in context of discussions around end user satisfaction, revenue generation and technological advances in the industry.”
The event kicks off with a continental breakfast event to offer professional practitioners and student attendees a forum to connect promoting high value networking opportunities. As with many CSCMP events, the symposium is designed around idea sharing to bridge professional generational gaps.
