A 48-foot, fully equipped, mobile training safety center will be showcased Monday and Tuesday of next week at Marina Heights – the 5-building, 2 million square foot mixed-use development overlooking Tempe Town Lake.
3M, a global innovation company, is joining Ryan Companies US, Inc. and several subcontractors on site for two days of safety training – an unmatched roadshow that offers safety expertise, hands-on training and industry best practices.
The two-day safety roadshow will include 45-minute safety seminars and 30-minute demonstrations on four critical topics: fall protection training, respiratory/silica protection training, hearing protection safety and eye and face protection safety.
“The lasting relationship we have built with 3M gives Ryan an exclusive opportunity to offer this one-of-a-kind training to all of our employees, contractors, OSHA and members of the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers,“ said Kyle Schoenberger, Safety Superintendent at Marina Heights. “This fun, two-day roadshow is unlike any other safety program around and we are very excited to have this available at Marina Heights.”
Approximately 600 participants will take part in this safety program and each individual will receive a certificate of completion for any training courses they participate in. 3M’s roadshow gives the opportunity for workers to become accredited in specific areas while gaining safety knowledge in an interactive and unique environment.
According to Schoenberger, the Marina Heights team has reached almost 3 million safe hours and participates in events such as this 3M safety roadshow to keep everyone up to date in the latest and greatest in equipment and highest standards in the industry.
