1784 Capital Holdings Purchases Goleta Site for Self-Storage Development

Scottsdale, Ariz. –Scottsdale-based 1784 Capital Holdings, LLC, has purchased 2.06 acres at 10 S. Kellogg Ave. in Goleta, CA.  The developer of high-end self-storage facilities plans to create a state-of-the-art facility on the site.

“We are committed to innovation in the self-storage industry,” says Shane Albers, Chairman and CEO of 1784 Capital Holdings.  “Our properties are designed to provide a superior customer experience. Our facilities are welcoming and provide amenities like climate-controlled loading areas, hotel-style lobbies, conference rooms and play areas. We provide a secure and clean environment to store cherished belongings.”

The property is situated adjacent to Highway 101 in the Santa Barbara metro area.  Located near the campus of University of California, Santa Barbara, the site is surrounded by up-scale neighborhoods, shopping centers, businesses and entertainment venues.

“This area north of Santa Barbara contains an insufficient supply of quality self-storage,” says Kelly McKone, Executive Vice President of Real Estate for 1784 Capital Holdings. “Goleta Self Storage will provide the market with much-needed storage suites for students, residents and businesses.”

Goleta Self Storage will feature three stories above ground and one below ground, totaling ±136,067 square feet of space.   The Class A, climate-controlled development will include convenient ingress/egress, diamond polished floors, state-of-the-art security and a variety of tenant services.  Completion of the project is planned for first quarter 2020.
