Vestar, one of the largest privately held retail real estate companies in the western United States, has promoted Jenny Cushing to the position of Vice President of Leasing. Previously she served as Assistant Vice President of Leasing.
Based in firm’s Phoenix headquarters, Cushing is responsible for the leasing efforts of assets throughout California, Arizona & Nevada.

With more than 18 years of experience in the industry, Cushing previously was the Vice President of Leasing for American Realty Capital Properties/Cole Real Estate Investments. During her tenure, she was responsible for supervising in-house policies and a network of national brokers and attorneys. She managed a portfolio of 50 shopping centers totaling 10 million sf and successfully negotiated 2 million sf of retail transactions with a value of over $200 million. Jenny performed her undergraduate studies in Communications at Arizona State University and is the recipient of the Quill & Scroll National Journalism Scholarship and the Fraternal Order of Police Scholarship. She is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
