Two new tenants will soon open shop at The Colony, a food, shopping and entertainment destination in the heart of Central Phoenix’s booming 7th Street Stretch.
The adaptive reuse project located along 7th St., just north of Missouri Avenue, opened to considerable acclaim last year, including winning the honor of being named 2016 Best of NAIOP Retail Project of the Year, with LGE Design Build serving as the general contractor. The two-part project involved renovating an existing 1950-era building and adapting it for modern-day use, while an additional 8,122 square feet of space boasts entirely new construction.
Joining the trendy tenant mix of restaurants and retailers at one of the city’s most buzzed-about addresses are health-conscious concepts Farm & Craft and The Drip Room, which will join a broad lineup of existing city hot spots, among them Stock & Stable, Honor Among Thieves, Phoenix General and Framed Ewe.
Farm & Craft, slated to open sometime in January, 2018, offers healthy, sustainable fare served up in a community-style setting. The eatery, which already has one thriving location in Old Town Scottsdale, is perhaps best known for its innovative, health-conscious Wellness Menu that offers options for reducing inflammation, increasing probiotic levels, boosting antioxidant intake and minimizing overall stress.
The Drip Room: A Vitamin Bar will also open its second Valley location in January within the confines of The Colony, and it too seeks to stimulate health and wellness through providing IV vitamin drips and related services amidst a modern, social environment.
“We’re honored to add Farm & Craft and The Drip Room to The Colony landscape,” said David Sellers, Chief Executive Officer and President of LGE Design Build. “Our visitors aren’t looking for the same old strip mall, chain operations – instead, they’re seeking new, innovative experiences that work together to improve mind, body and soul, and these new tenants are set to do exactly that.”
Guests of The Colony can expect Farm & Craft and The Drip Room to open their doors early next year. For more about Farm & Craft, visit ILoveFarmandCraft.com. For more on The Drip Room, visit TheDripRoom.com, and for more about The Colony, check out TheColonyPHX.com.
