Mellow Mushroom just opened a new location at the Mesa Grand Shopping Center, located at Stapley Drive, just off of the US-60 in Mesa.
This location marks the fifth of five locations in the valley, all owned by local area developer Jay Beskind.
The freestanding restaurant is approximately 7,200 SF with a large 100-seat patio, facing Stapley along the main entrance of the center. The collection of artwork and thematic elements at this location, and the others, is specifically curated by Beskind to be unique to each individual restaurant.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Mesa community, and look forward to being a good partner with the city and its residents. We have been in business in the Valley since our 1st location opened on Happy Valley Road and I-17 in December, 2009. We feel the Mesa store will continue to enhance our brand in the SE valley.“
“We were able to find a great tenant mix within Mesa Grand Shopping Center, supported by a densely populated, high-volume daytime employment trade area,” said Chuck Gibson of SRS’ Phoenix Office. “Capturing Mellow Mushroom’s family-oriented culture and brand was a top priority.” SRS represents Mellow Mushroom locally, in conjunction with Lee & Associates’ Mark Linsalata.
Existing Mellow Mushroom locations in the valley include downtown Tempe, High Street, Ray Road and the I-10 in Awhatukee, and the I-17 and Happy Valley in Phoenix.
