LGE Design Build Breaks Ground on $4.4 Million Charter For Excellence Headquarters in Chandler

LGE Design Build broke ground yesterday on a new headquarters for Charter For Excellence Management Group. CFE is the management group and founding organization of Legacy Traditional Schools, a top-ranked charter school network serving more than 14,500 K-8 students in Arizona and Nevada.
Located at the southeast corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek roads in Chandler, the 27,929 square-foot Class A office space project is anticipated to be completed in May of 2018.
“With the anticipated growth of the Legacy network in the next few years, it was necessary for CFE Management Group to assess its office space needs in order to continue delivering the exceptional service and support that Legacy schools have always enjoyed,,” Brandon Jones, CEO of CFE Management Group said.
“CFE helped start the Legacy Traditional School network in 2007 and continues to support its expansion. Legacy Traditional Schools began with one campus in Maricopa; today it operates 12 campuses in Arizona and one in Nevada,” added Jones. “CFE remains committed to providing educational and business consulting support to Legacy Traditional Schools as they focus on meeting the high parental demand for quality educational K-8 choices.”
Jones explained that having an A-rated, high-achieving and high-performing charter school in a neighborhood is something that his organization, CFE, facilitates.
“High quality education is important to the long-term health and viability of a community. To deliver on that promise requires a state-of-the-art office building that allows the entire CFE team to work collaboratively in one location. Our new headquarters facility will better enable CFE to manage and expand schools in our network by providing value-added academic, business and development services,” Jones said.
LGE Design Build was familiar with the Legacy school network and its needs after having constructed several Legacy K-8 campuses. He added, “Selecting LGE to design and build our new CFE headquarters made great sense given LGE’s help in constructing several of Legacy’s newest campuses.”
LGE Design Build President and CEO, David Sellers, said, “We’re proud to play a role in any endeavor that helps the CFE organization serve more students throughout the Legacy network. Clearly, the CFE team is headed in the right direction by opening and managing superior K-8 schools in communities across Arizona and Nevada.”
