Lee & Associates is pleased to announce the sale
of Campus Marketplace, a 144,287 SF shopping center at 300 S. Twin
Oaks Valley Rd. in Carlsbad, CA for $53,350,000.
Jan Fincham and Patrick Dempsey, Principals of the Phoenix Lee &
Associates offi ce, brokered the transaction along with Randy Dalby,of the
Lee & Associates Carlsbad offi ce. The buyer was a private trust that was
in a 1031 Exchange. The seller was IA REIT of Chicago, Ill.
“It was an opportunity for the buyer, a private trust in a 1031
exchange, to acquire a strategically located in-fi ll daily needs grocery and
drugstore anchored shopping center,” said Fincham.
Campus Marketplace features quality, national tenants such as
Ralphs Grocery, CVS, Starbucks, UPS Store, Bank of America, Chase
Bank and other notable regional tenants. The shopping center is located
directly across the street from Cal State San Marcos.
