Landmark Title Assurance Agency recently expanded its services with the introduction of its Builder & Developer Direct Services department.
Landmark Title’s new department will provide value-added services directly to the developer, subdivider and homebuilder community. They will work with builders and developers on everything from single site builds to master planned communities, helping them navigate the Subdivision Disclosure Report process (public report), escrow, and title.
The new department will be managed by John Gerard, who was recently hired as the vice president of Builder & Developer Direct Services. Under Gerard’s direction the firm will assist clients in land acquisition, providing the necessary research for the entitlement of property, and State of Arizona Department of Real Estate (DRE) processing. Gerard and his team will work to coordinate projects, monitor progress, and identify and address potential issues.
“We understand that every dollar is important and after closing on a land purchase, our clients begin making money when they are able to close escrows,” states Gerard. “The sooner we can help them get a project up and running the better it is for everyone involved.”
In addition to extensive experience in the title industry, Gerard is well-versed in State of Arizona Department of Real Estate State statutes governing the division of land and commissioners rules.
“Adding services that specifically assist builders and developers is a natural progression for us,” explains Vicki Etherton, president of Landmark Title. “As I look at expanding our business, it is with a focus on building a team of extremely knowledgeable and experienced individuals – and John definitely fits that bill.”
