Kitchell recently promoted Julie Garcia to Director of Preconstruction, and Brian Potter to Chief Estimator.
Garcia started her career with Kitchell after graduating from Arizona State University. She has held various roles within the company, most recently as Manager of Preconstruction. She has also served as an estimator and project engineer, primarily focused on Kitchell’s healthcare and higher education expertise. She was honored as one of Engineering News-Record’s Top 20 Under 40, and has been involved with high-profile Kitchell projects including Phoenix Children’s Hospital, UC San Diego Jacobs Medical Center and various projects with Banner Health. She is currently the preconstruction lead on the University of Arizona Health Sciences Innovation Building project in Tucson, Ariz.
Potter has managed Kitchell’s preconstruction and estimating teams, implementing new software solutions and developing a cadre of talented professionals. He has been focused on Kitchell’s Native American and hospitality markets. Prior to his promotion Potter was Manager of Cost Estimating, and has also served as senior estimator. Potter also obtained his degree from Arizona State University.
