It’s not often one hears of a $1.7 million sale, let alone a sale over $4.1 million in midtown Phoenix, but this spring Chateau Listing Agent Monica Monson of Monson Luxury Group at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce the closure of two record sales in recent years in midtown Phoenix.
Offering more than 8,200 square feet and five levels of luxury living, Chateau 3 at 2006 N. Central Avenue in Phoenix closed for $4,152,009 at the end of February. The Post-Modern Victorian Brownstone is the highest residential sale in recent years in downtown Phoenix. The 5 bedroom, 5 bath vertical mansion features multiple terraces throughout, including Romeo and Juliet style balconies, in addition to its own basement, 4-car garage and in-house elevator.
The sale of Chateau 3 this Spring was followed by the sale of another chateau. This one has been called the most sophisticated chateau to date. Located at 30 W Palm Lane in Phoenix Chateau 10 closed for $1,775,000 on March 29th after being on the market for just a little over two months.
The recent sales were not tied to the year-long design challenge that came to a festive end in late February but the project’s exposure from the contest certainly hasn’t hurt a growing buyer pool. During Chateau on Central Design Challenge Arizona three of the Arizona’s most well known and prolific designers, Robert Burg, Charles Glover and Beth McGehee took Chateaus 16, 17 and 18 from shell stage to a completed one-of-a-kind masterpiece. In the end the judges named Robert Burg of Robert Burg Design, Overall Winner for his Paris meets New York inspired Chateau.
Luxury Real estate expert and Chateau Listing Agent Monica Monson of Monson Luxury Group at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty calls the recent sales a re-birth in the project that is finally coming to light.
“What we are seeing right now with these recent record closings and the finale of the Chateau on Central Design Challenge Arizona a validation that we have a very unique and special property here at Central and Palm Lane,” said Monson. “No where else in Phoenix can you find these vertical masterpieces with the best of city living and the intricate detail that truly makes Chateau on Central a marvel in our luxury lifestyle options.”
