GPE Commercial Advisors, one of the oldest privately owned commercial real estate firms in Arizona, secured a long term lease of the former Rancho Solano School at 1305 South Gilbert Road in Gilbert, Arizona. The building is approximately 30,000 SF and sits on 9.39 acres. The new campus allows Lauren’s Institute for Education (L.I.F.E.), a non-profit private school and treatment center for the differently-abled, to expand their services and enrollment. They will offer a private academy, therapy and treatment programs and an adult program in addition to new therapy options.
Alexandra Loye, Senior Vice President, and Dominic M. Perry, CCIM, Vice President, with GPE represented the Tenant, Lauren’s Institute for Education (L.I.F.E.). The Landlord, Fenway Properties, was self-represented. Larry Jackel, Principal of Fenway, who purchased the property in order to facilitate the long term lease, expressed “We are thrilled to be able to assist in the opening of this great facility with this terrific organization.”
“This transaction allows L.I.F.E. the ability to relocate from an office condo project to a school campus environment with on-site amenities which will facilitate their long term growth strategy. It is truly rewarding to work with an organization like L.I.F.E. and to assist in finding their dream property and making it a successful expansion!” says Alexandra Loye. This expansion will ensure their ability to continue providing the high level of service for which they have been consistently recognized. “The move keeps L.I.F.E. in the Town of Gilbert allowing them to continue to provide their highly sought after services to the families in the Southeast Valley”, says Dominic Perry. “This deal would not have been possible without Fenway Properties’ participation as the owner of the building. We thank them for working with L.I.F.E. to make this deal possible.”
Gilbert Mayor John Lewis states “Premier education is the foundation on which the Gilbert community is built. We are so proud to have Lauren’s Institute for Education open its doors in our community. Their presence ultimately enhances the educational opportunities in Gilbert for citizens of all ages and of all abilities.”
Lauren’s Institute for Education started their new school year August 10th, 2015. “We are overjoyed to offer our services to existing and new families in a new comprehensive environment.” says Margaret Travillion, Co-Founder & CEO and Carrie Reed, Co-Founder and President of L.I.F.E. “This was a long process and Alexandra and Dominic worked hand in hand with our organization to bring to reality our dream that started over a year ago. We couldn’t be happier!”
