Oct. 23, 2013- The Cushman & Wakefield leasing team representing Chandler Business Center has completed six office leases at the property in 120 days.
Chandler Business Center, located at 6150 W. Chandler Blvd., is a multi-tenant industrial/flex park owned by investment manager Clarion Partners, LLC. The six leases recently signed total 42,192 square feet, increasing occupancy at the park by 24 percent.
“The Chandler market has seen a great deal of activity in 2013 and we have been fortunate to capture absorption at Chandler Business Center. It became apparent that the current zoning was a barrier to qualified, creditworthy prospective tenants,” says Jackie Orcutt with Cushman & Wakefield. “We worked diligently with City officials to update the property usages. As a result, we were able to attract new tenants and renew existing occupants within record time. The Phoenix industrial market is dynamic and competitive. We look forward to attracting more tenants as the demand for Chandler industrial space grows.”
Phoenix is an inland trade hub with a highly diverse industrial market and moderate costs of doing business. The market is recovering from the recent downturn, and the net absorption of industrial space is expected to outpace new supply over the next five years.
