Concord General Contracting has announced their future leadership transition. Effective January 2020, Dale Marr, Chief Executive Officer, John Nyman, President, and Eric Peterson, Chief Financial Officer, will step down from their day to day leadership responsibilities. Grenee Celuch will assume the Chief Executive Officer position, Jason Beaver will continue as the Chief Operating Officer, and JV Nyman will become President of the firm.
“The entire leadership team will work closely together over the next year and a half to make this a smooth transition for our clients and employees,” Marr said. “Grenee, Jason, and JV have transformed the way we do business, creating new approaches and services to clients that help carry out our mission and values. It’s exciting to think about how they will continue to transform Concord in the future.”
“Concord and our team is like no other and I’m humbled to lead a company that has always focused on our strong history and culture,” said Celuch. “The projects our team has completed, while continuously innovating our business through our goals and initiatives is just the start of how we will continue to grow and innovate.”
Celuch, Beaver, and Nyman will be the third generation of leaders of Concord. The leadership transition plan will take place throughout 2019.
“John, Eric, and myself will still be involved after 2020, but we are pleased to have Grenee, Jason, and JV take over the day to day leadership responsibilities while we start to enjoy more free time and explore other passions outside of Concord,” Marr said. “Our main focus is to make this transition a success for the entire company, while never losing focus on providing the Ultimate Client Experience on every project.”
Celuch joined Concord in 2007 and is currently serving as Vice President, leading Business Development and the firm’s strategic initiatives. Beaver has been with the company for 15 years and serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Mesa and Tucson markets. Nyman is currently Director of Finance and Administration and will step into the role of President after the transition.
Celuch currently serves on the Tempe Impact Education Foundation Board and has previously served as the President for the Society for Marketing Professional Services Arizona Chapter. She has been a strong advocate for marketing and business development professionals within the industry speaking nationally on pushing the advantages of having them represented on firm’s leadership teams. Her passion for strategic planning, innovation, and connecting with people continuously motivates her to push Concord and the industry to the next level.
