Nov. 15, 2013- Colliers International in Greater Phoenix has expanded its investment services platform with the addition of Steven Gonzalez, senior vice president of investments.
Gonzalez is partnering with Marcus Muirhead, associate vice president; and Greg Guglielmino, senior associate, to form an investment team, specializing in the disposition of single- and multi-tenant office and medical investment properties on behalf of private and institutional buyers and sellers.
“Steve has a talent for positioning properties to increase liquidity and maximize value for clients. We are pleased to welcome Steve to Colliers and to complete the formation of this investment team,” said Bob Mulhern, managing director of Colliers.
Previously, Gonzalez worked with both Muirhead and Guglielmino. Guglielmino joined Colliers in July while Muirhead joined Colliers in 2006. All three brokers are members of Colliers International’s Healthcare Services Group, which allows them to partner with Colliers professionals on a national level to serve the interests of their clients.
“I’m excited to join Colliers and to partner with Marcus and Greg again. I’ve long admired Colliers for its full-service platform, depth of market knowledge, industry resources and accomplished brokers,” said Gonzalez. “Our team’s experience, combined with Colliers International’s resources, will enable us to provide exemplary strategic investment service to our clients.”
Each of the brokers has long-standing client relationships that account for a significant part of their repeat business. “Focusing on client relationships, not just transactions, and providing a comprehensive portfolio of services are among the highest priorities for our team,” added Gonzalez.
Gonzalez brings extensive experience with a wide range of office and other investment properties. Gonzalez has completed over 200 investment sales transactions, valued at approximately $800 million, during his career.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Gonzalez worked at Marcus & Millichap in Phoenix for 21 years as first vice president of investments and senior director of the National Office & Industrial Properties Group. He was consistently ranked as a Top Office Investment Agent in the Phoenix Office and recognized numerous times with national achievement awards.
Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Arizona State University and is a member of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP).
